Dear friends and fellow fashionistas,


Unfortunately the economy continues to worsen since my last letter. However, many of the things I said are actually becoming even more true since I predicted where fashion will go the last time.

Stores such as Saks Fifth Ave, Neiman Marcus, etc., have announced they are still in the luxury business, but at the same time affordable luxury is on their radar. Designers such as Vera Wang have lowered their price points as have most other designers. Even premium jean companies are coming out with lines that are retailing for $125 instead of $300.


Our strategy at Rough Roses seems to be right on target. Many customers who thought our retail price was too low , are now taking another look and are actually purchasing the line. They are seeing the value for the price. Celebrities, both men and women continue to be big supporters of our products.

I do have a news flash for my readers which will not be made public for a few more months.

We are going to launch in May a fashion line of casual wear that will knock you out. It will be edgy, sexy and hot just as our belts and handbags. Keep watching for its launch, but, I guarantee it will be the hottest line on the market as well as affordable with top quality.
